Investigations

Crypto and financial crime investigations, on-chain and off.

When money has moved and you need to know where it went, or when an alert has turned into something larger than an alert.

Illustrative trace, synthetic data

When to call us

Funds have left and need tracing, across chains, bridges or mixers.

An alert has turned into something larger than an alert.

A subpoena, production order or law enforcement request needs a response.

You act for a client, as a law firm or insolvency practitioner, and their assets have moved on-chain.

A fraud needs investigating, and the typology behind it explained.

A complex case needs a SAR or STR narrative written, or an existing one reviewed.

How an investigation runs

01

Scope

We scope tightly and tell you what we think the problem is before you commit to anything. Who will rely on the findings, whether your board, a regulator, your lawyers or law enforcement, decides how they are evidenced and written.

02

Trace

On-chain, we follow funds hop by hop across chains, bridges, mixers and consolidation points, and check the trail in more than one analytics tool where their coverage differs. Off-chain, we attribute through open sources.

03

Report

Findings come back in the form the matter needs: a SAR or STR narrative, a response to a production order, or a report for counsel or an insolvency practitioner. Every hop is referenced to its transaction, so the trail can be checked independently.

Blockchain forensics for law firms and insolvency practitioners

When a client's funds have moved on-chain, we trace them across chains and bridges, identify where they reach exchanges or other regulated services where the trail allows, and set out every hop so your team can act on it. We work alongside the legal team and do not give legal advice.

Our published on-chain analysis uses public incidents only.

Tell us what has happened.

Most of our work starts with a short, confidential conversation about a problem someone did not expect to have. No sales process, no discovery deck. You will speak to a director.
